Toy Town Museum Special Events

 

Throughout the year, the Toy Town Museum holds special events to benefit the Toy Town Museum and celebrate toys!  The major events each year are as follows.

 

ToyFest:

After a lengthy review, the Toy Town Museum and ToyFest™ Steering Committee have decided not to hold ToyFest™ in 2008.  The decision was based on several factors including the reconstruction of Main St. which begins this Spring and an increasing need for adult volunteers.  During this time, the Museum plans to focus its resources on promoting the Toy Town Museum and creating new and exciting programs and events throughout the year. In the future, the Museum plans to once again hold ToyFest™.  We invite anyone interested in helping with the Museum or a future ToyFest™ to become a volunteer. Toys Around Town:

Each spring the fire hydrants that line the Village of East Aurora streets take on new a look as local artists and families paint their "adopted" hydrant as their favorite toy, storybook character or whimisical design.

Holidays at Toy Town:

Take a trip to Toy Town USAthis holiday season and visit the Toy Town Museum in our very own Toyland .  Throughout the holiday season, the Toy Town Museum will be celebrating the holidays with some very special holiday exhibits events.  For more information, click here.
